Trust me, I’ve gone full ingredient detective mode more than once. What we really need to be looking at, however, is the Guaranteed Analysis – this gives you a way to compare products side-by-side, no matter how fancy or healthy the ingredients sound. It tells you how much protein, fat, fiber, and moisture are in the food. I’ll get into the nitty gritty of it all another day.

🐾 Would I Feed This to My Dog?
I do feed Farmina kibble to my dog, and, quite frankly, unless something absolutely drastic happens (or they get purchased by Nestle..), I don’t see myself changing it any time soon. They have been on the lamb diet and, previously, the chicken grain-free for about 2 years now with zero problems. The pups love it. No toppers, no coaxing, no Oscar-worthy performances from me—just clean plates (yes, we use dog plates in this house).
If your dog needs a limited-ingredient diet or just does better on lamb, Farmina’s Lamb & Blueberry line is an excellent option.
